Our Community Is Changing and Government Needs to Keep Up

House District 40 is growing fast. What was once farmland is now a thriving community of families, workers, seniors, and small businesses who care deeply about where we live and where we’re headed.
But while our community has changed, too much of state government hasn’t.
Families are paying more just to get by. Schools are under pressure. Seniors and people with disabilities are navigating systems that feel harder than they should. And too often, decisions at the Statehouse seem disconnected from the real challenges people face here at home.
We deserve leadership that understands this moment and is ready to meet it.
My wife and I chose Avon to raise our family because we believed in this community. Today, we’re raising our four kids here, alongside neighbors who work hard, care for one another, and want a better future for the next generation.
For more than twenty years, I’ve worked in state social services, helping Hoosiers with disabilities, seniors, and families access the support they need to live with dignity and independence. I’ve seen how smart investments in people strengthen entire communities, and how harmful it is when systems fail the people they’re meant to serve.
I’m running for the Indiana House because government should make life easier, not harder. It should be a partner in people’s success. And it should reflect the values of the communities it represents.

What I Stand For
Making Indiana More Affordable
Hoosiers work hard, but too many are still struggling to keep up. I’ll fight for policies that lower everyday costs, support fair wages, and ensure working people aren’t carrying more than their share while large corporations benefit from our communities.
Strong, Transparent Public Schools
Every child deserves access to a great public education. I’ll work to fully fund public schools, support educators, and strengthen transparency and collaboration between parents, teachers, and schools.
Dignity for Seniors and People with Disabilities
Everyone deserves the chance to live independently and with respect. I’ll advocate for home- and community-based services, support caregivers, and policies that honor dignity at every stage of life.
Healthcare That Puts People First
Healthcare decisions should be made by patients, not politicians. I’ll work to keep healthcare affordable and accessible, support local hospitals, and demand accountability and transparency from large healthcare systems.
